Sankt Ulrich in the Gröden valley – the valley famous for its wood carvings in the heart of the South Tyrolean Dolomites – you just can’t get any nearer to the Southern Alps than this. The hotel was owned by the Sanoner family back in 1810, and its striking feature is the extensive parkland surrounding the estate. Tradition is reflected in many details and the relationship with the alpine environment – in the lovingly designed natural wood furniture, the original Tyrolean bathing house, the South Tyrolean hay bath, the hay pannier oven or the Alm lodge sauna. |
