F. X. MAYR THERAPY:
Franz Xaver Mayr (1875 - 1965) developed a natural approach to healing disorders of the digestive system at the beginning of the century, based on the principle of “detoxification, expurgation, neutralisation”. This strict diet involves fasting, with only tea or a therapeutic diet of spring water, fresh alpine herbs and basic vegetable broth. As the treatment progresses, the milk and bread roll diet is given. The dietary measures are backed up with manual abdominal treatment to restore condition to the intestine. A further aspect of this healing method entails hydrotherapy and therapeutic exercise.
FACE MASSAGE: After cleansing the skin of the face, a conditioning creme is carefully massaged in. The various strokes and procedures are precisely defined, with names such as cheek circle, eye circle or fan stroke. They follow the line of the muscles and finish at the lymph channels. Accumulated water is dissipated by means of gentle stroking from the centre of the face outwards.
FANGO:
The heated mineral-enriched mud can be used in healing therapy, but also for beauty care. Areas of application include rheumatic disorders, nervous problems, gynaecological trouble, problems with internal organs.
FELDENKRAIS-THERAPY:
Exercise method established by the physicist Moshe Feldenkrais. The gentle exercise routines are intended to release tension. Feldenkrais exercises are easy to do anywhere, and for this reason they are ideal for relaxing during a quick break at work.
FENG SHUI:
Asiatic philosophy of harmony in homes, gardens and all living environments. The theory, which is thousands of years old, ensures a balanced flow of the vital energies.
FINNISH SAUNA:
A hot steam bath hundreds of years old from Finland . Extreme sweating in the sauna detoxifies, rids the body of waste and relaxes. It is usual to take several consecutive saunas.
FITNESS CHECK:
The fitness check is an examination by a sports scientist, in which several health tests are carried out – for example body fat measurement, a manual muscle function test, a stress test (cycle ergometry; submaximal), a written test record and usually an individually devised training plan.
FIVE TIBETANS:
The “Five Tibetans” energy programme helps us to cope with changes in our life, to shape them and ultimately to implement and internalise them. These Tibetan body exercises, which are centuries old, give us the strength and energy we need for this.
FOOT REFLEX ZONE MASSAGE:
Treatment of bio energy points on the feet, where all the meridian lines converge. Gentle massage of the foot’s surface has an effect on particular organs that are at the end of the meridians, thereby stimulating the self-healing process.
