ECG:
An ECG shows the electrical activity from the heart, which is visualised and recorded. To do this, electrodes are fastened to the patient’s ribcage, arms and legs. They pick up the impulses and route them to the device. Here they are amplified and shown as a special ECG curve on screen, or printed out on a strip of paper.
ENERGY MASSAGE:
The full energy massage treats the entire body using individually tuned massage techniques. Muscle tension is released using flat and localised stroking and kneading movements. This massage also has a relaxing, calming and balancing effect on the vegetative nervous system, and stimulates the circulation and metabolism. In particular, it boosts the body’s energy levels. Tension caused by stress and an incorrect sitting posture at work interrupts the body’s energy flow. An energy massage that treats the whole body brings the energy levels back into equilibrium again.

EPO (Erythropoietin):
EPO is a chemical messenger (hormone) which is formed in the human kidney and regulates the production of red blood cells and therefore oxygen transport. In the event of low oxygen levels, such as those experienced in the mountains, increased amounts of EPO are released and the formation of red blood cells is stimulated. EPO is used as a synthetic medication to treat various kidney diseases and tumours, but has unfortunately acquired a dishonourable reputation as a doping substance. Since increased amounts of EPO are produced even at moderate altitudes of 1500 m and above, this is sometimes known as permissible doping in the mountains.
